Guacamole on Rye Toast

The Serrano peppers give the guacamole just a little bit of kick, which is balanced out by the cream cheese.  A great finger food to serve before any meal.

Artichoke & Lemon Pesto

The strong flavor of this pesto really sets it apart from the conventional recipes.  Use it on simple toasted bread for an appetizer (like I did), or put it with your favorite pasta.

Yield: 2 cups pesto

7 Layer Vegetarian Dip

I normally don't do vegetarian, and I have to admit that I really had to stretch to do a dip this big without meat.  But it turned out really well and definitely worth the effort.

Grilled Bread

This bread is not too difficult to whip up and definitely looks fancy.  Good side dish to make when you have comapny coming over.

Triple Cheese Balls

A single base mixture serves to create three different flavors of cheeseball.  All three are great, though my personal favorite is the Gorgonzola-cranberry.

  • Pesto Cheeseball
  • Horseradish-Bacon Cheeseball
  • Gorgonzola-Cranberry Cheeseball
