Oven-Crisped Potatoes

This is a quick & easy side dish that you can throw together to go alongside just about any meal.

Yield: 5 servings


  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


  1. Arrange the potatoes in an ungreased baking dish.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, onion, and black pepper.  Pour over the potatoes.
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 350°F for 75 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Broil for 2-3 minutes to crisp the top.
