Better than just plain rice krispie squares, these add in cake, chocolate, & peanut butter.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup buttter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 3 tbsp baking cocoa
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
- Topping
- 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 cups rice krispies
Directions
- Cream butter & sugar. Add in eggs & vanilla.
- In separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, & salt. Gradually add to butter mixture. Spread in greased 9x13 pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 18-20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with marshallows as soon as pan comes out of the over. Use a spoon dipped in water to spread. Cool completely.
- In saucepan, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Remove from heat and stir in rice krispies. Spread over top of marshallows. Cool completely.
- Cut into squares and try to eat only one.
