Beef Bulgogi

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Marinade
    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 tbsp honey
    • 2 tbsp rice cooking wine
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 2 tsp sesame seeds
    • 1 tbsp chopped green onion
    • 2 tbsp Asian pear puree
  • 1 lb. thinly sliced beef, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 large onion, cut into wedges.
  • Cooked rice
  • Chopped green onion.

Directions

  1. Combine all of the marinade ingredients together.  Mix well.  Add in the beef and mix together.  Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a frying pan with some oil.  Remove the beef from the marinade and fry until the meet is browned.
  3. Without draining and juices, add the onions into the pan and fry until tender.
  4. Serve the beef and onions over cooked rice.  Garnish with green onion.
