Brown Sugar Baked Pineapple

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh pineapple
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Cut and core the pineapple.  Cut into 1" chunks.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pineapple with all other ingredients.  Toss to coat.  Transfer to a casserole dish.
  3. Bake at 450°F for 25 minutes, stirring once in the middle.
  4. Serve warm, straight from the oven.
