Bacon and Kimchi Burgers

Yield: 8 servings


  • 1/4 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 8 slices cheese
  • 8 buns
  • 1 cup chopped kimchi


  1. Mix together the gochujang, mayonnaise, and ketchup.  Set aside.
  2. Mix together the beef with the egg.  Divide into 8 patties.
  3. Grill the burgers over medium heat until browned.
    • Melt the cheese on the patties on the grill for the last minute of cook time.
    • Toast the buns on the grill.
  4. While the beef is grilling, cook the bacon in a cast iron skillet.
  5. To assemble the burgers, place the burgers on the buns.  Top with bacon and kimchi.  Put sauce on the top side of the bun.
