Parmesan Tomatoes

This appetizer is fast and easy to make.  You can make  it quickly while your main dish is cooking, and it complements any Italian meal nicely.

Yield: 8 servings


Ingredients


  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 8 tsp oil

Directions


  1. Sprinkle the parmesan onto the tomatoes.  Sprinkle with oregano.
  2. Transfer to a baking sheet.  Drizzle with oil.  Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from the oven.  Serve hot.
