Bean Dip

This will make a whole ton of dip.  If you're serving a smaller group or don't want leftovers, then consider cutting it in half.


Ingredients


  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 1 can (16 oz) black refried beans
  • 2 cans (7.75 oz) jalapeño salsa
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cans (4 oz) green chilies
  • 2 jalapeños, chopped
  • 24 oz sour cream
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1 can (7.5 oz) chopped chipotle peppers
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 3 tsp cumin
  • 16 oz. shredded cheese
  • Tortilla chips

Directions


  1. In a large bowl, combine the first eleven ingredient.  Mix well.
  2. Grease a 2.5 qt casserole dish and a 1.5 qt. casserole dish.
  3. Split the dip proprotionately between the two bowls.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 325ºF for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove foil and sprinkle with cheese.  Return to oven for an additional 7-10 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with chips for dipping.
