White Chocolate Berry Dessert

Mix up some fresh berries to make this light, summertime dessert.


Ingredients


  • Cake
    • 8 oz white baking chocolate
    • 6 tbsp butter, cubed
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 3 tsp vanilla
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Filling
    • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
    • 3 oz white baking chocolate, melted
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 1/3 cup sugar
    • 1/3 cup sour cream
    • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Topping
    • 8 oz frozen whipped topping
    • 4 oz white baking chocolate, melted
    • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced

Directions


  1. Melt chocolate and butter and mix until smooth.
  2. In separate bowl, beat eggs and sugar until yellow.  Add in chocolate mixture and vanilla.  Combine flour and salt and then add to chocolate mixture.  Spread into greased 13 x9 baking pan.
  3. For filling, beat together cream cheese and chocolate.  Add egg, sugar, sour cream, and vanilla.  Spread over the cake.  Swirl with a knife.
  4. Bake at 350ºF for 40-45 minutes.  Cool on wire rack.
  5. Just before serving, combine whipped topping and white chocolate.  Fold in strawberries.  Spread over dessert and cut into squares.
