Lemon Broccoli

This is a quick side dish that goes with any meal.  There are some great flavors combined together and it only takes a couple minutes to throw together.


  • 2 shallots. thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 12 oz. raw broccoli tips
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)


  1. In a skillet, sauté the shallots in olive.  Add the garlic and cook for 30 more seconds.
  2. Add in the broccoli & lemon juice.  Cook over medium-low heat, stirring regularly until cooked.
  3. Sprinkle with salt & pepper to desired.
