Chicken Noodle Soup

This is a classic that needs no introduction.  You can swap around the vegetables to meet your own taste.  It's a pretty tasty soup that everyone loves.


  • 1 chicken thigh & leg
  • 5 cups water
  • 8 tsp chicken soup base
  • 2-3 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • spaghetti noodles, broken in half


  1. Cut up the chicken into small pieces.  Put in pot.
  2. Disolve soup base in water.  Add to chicken.  Add in vegetables.
  3. Simmer for 1.5 - 2.0 hours (give or take a little).
  4. Add in spaghetti noodles.  Continue simmering until they're cooked.'
  5. Serve hot.
