Cheesecake Brownies

Chocolatey brownies with cream-cheese swirled through.  Top with some chocolate frosting and ice cream for a complete dessert.


Ingredients


  • 1 package brownies (19.5 oz)
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 6 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • Chocolate frosting (optional)
  • Ice cream (optional)

Directions


  1. Prepare brownie mix according to package.  Spread 2 cups in bottom of 13x9 inch greased baking dish.  Set remained aside.
  2. In separate bowl, mix cream cheese, butter, sugar, flour, and vanilla.  Add eggs and mix just until combined.  Spread evenly over brownie mix.  Top with remaining brownie mix.
  3. Run a knife through the batter to swirl it.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 32-40 minutes.
  5. Cool completely on wire rack.
  6. Optionally, top with chocolate frosting and serve with ice cream.
